Canyon Road Art Crawl
Santa Fe Film Festival Feature Event
Friday, December 9th, 4-7pm
Sponsored by the Christopher Foundation for the Arts

Experience the fusion of the visual and cinematic arts at the Canyon Road ArtCrawl, which takes place at 40 venues on historic Canyon Road. Features include a red carpet, a mariachi march down Canyon Road, and art openings at many of the road’s 100 fine art galleries. The Santa Fe Film Festival feature event is open to the public.

The ArtCrawl begins with a party and special toast at El Farol at 4. Mariachis will perform and then lead the way to the Santa Fe Film Festival’s red carpet walk at GF Contemporary at 4:30. Cameras are welcome - there will be plenty of photo ops at the step and repeat. Filmmakers from around the globe will be in attendance.

Following the red carpet, mariachis will continue down the road performing at many of the galleries, shops, and cafes along the way. Farolitos with a splash of red paint will light the way to all ArtCrawl openings and events.

The ArtCrawl coincides with the Santa Fe Film Festival’s "Art on Film" series, which features a number of documentaries on artists that will play throughout the festival. The Santa Fe Film Festival focuses on bringing together distinguished industry specialists and discriminating movie lovers through accessible screenings, panels, workshops and parties. The annual event honors everyone working both behind the scenes and on screen to bring the best of film creation, production and showings to the public.
